Universe Inside Us - Destiny's Fate?

It is common in the intricacy of life that people reflect upon the interaction between fate and self-determination. The question about giving in to fate or turning inside still remains. However, this decision appears simple at face value but it gives the outline for the story of the journey. 

One should let destiny be with the universe because going along with the stream is similar to drifting in the river of life and the currents decide the way forward. The reassurance of abandonment brings with it the notion of destiny. However, one day it is realized that destiny is not an outsider in the life of a person but an interwoven fiber.

The change in consciousness constitutes a fundamental and radical change. One stops being a passenger on the cosmic journey and becomes the universe itself. It speaks of every twist and turn, each joy and pain from inside. The caprice of the hand of destiny unveils itself to be only a mirror image of our will, thoughts, and deeds.

The shift initiates an introspective quest. Unfolding in essence is being and as the layers of conditioned thought are stripped off. It is not about taking control but accepting the fact that the universe is also in and part of us. Shaping reality isn’t some mysterious power that you cannot achieve, but an unrealized potential deep inside you.

However, this journey ignites a process of discovery of one’s identity. The essence of being manifests as the layers of conditioned thinking are stripped off. The truth is we do not need to outwit destiny by controlling everything that happens around us, but we accept that the universe lives in us. It is actually not an obscure or elusive power, it’s something that exists in us and we only need to tap into it to transform our world.

By the same token, the new sense of self erases blame. These former attributes of random fate are reinterpreted as a means through which the universe learns its lessons. For an individual, hardships are potentials for advancement; shortcomings act as stages to self-realization. It is now the individual’s inner compass that determines the direction and the responsibility for the narrative of existence lies at his feet.

It is a choice we make for ourselves—seeing life in terms of destiny, or accepting our universe. This is the change of viewpoint, which turns fatality into empowerment. The direction of events is not set as fate, but a deliberate choice of action that resonates with the “universe dweller” within.
